Sean "Diddy" Combs will be spending Christmas at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn after his bail plea was denied for the third time.
Following Thanksgiving, Diddy will continue his time in custody as he awaits his trial, scheduled for May 2025. The music mogul, who was arrested on September 16 in Manhattan, has been incarcerated since then and will now mark the holiday season behind bars—a stark contrast to his usual extravagant celebrations.
A Very Different Christmas
With a reported net worth of $400 million, Diddy is known for celebrating the holidays in style, surrounded by family and lavish decorations. However, this year will be very different. According to *The Mirror*, the prison has organized a series of holiday activities for the inmates, including card games, dominoes, and sports competitions in basketball and football.
Federal sources told *TMZ* that these activities are among the planned events for Christmas Day. The menu for the holiday will feature a traditional meal, including baked Cornish hen, macaroni and cheese, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, and a dessert. While festive, it will undoubtedly pale compared to the lavish Christmas celebrations Diddy is used to at his sprawling mansion.
Thanksgiving in Jail and More Milestones Behind Bars
As previously reported by *The New York Post*, Diddy celebrated Thanksgiving in prison with a breakfast of cereal, fruit, and pastries at 6 a.m., followed by a mid-day turkey roast or hot and sour tofu with mashed potatoes, vegetables, turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, rolls with margarine, and assorted pies.
This isn’t the first major holiday Diddy has spent behind bars. He has also marked his birthday and Halloween in jail, with the mogul maintaining his innocence amidst the ongoing legal battle and the allegations against him.
As his legal proceedings continue, Diddy will now face Christmas in a far more subdued setting than he is used to. His focus remains on clearing his name while navigating life behind bars as the holiday season unfolds.
